Gemsan Engineering and Contracting Company is committed to the core values of labor in line with the principles of the "Global Compact" initiated by the United Nations and in accordance with the "Gender equality in the workplace SA 8000 and EDGE global standard requirements", in accordance with applicable laws, contractual agreements and ILO recommendations.
Regarding these commitments, particular attention was paid to the following issues:
Child labor, Forced labor, Health and safety, Discrimination, Disciplinary Practices, Working hours, Remuneration
These issues cover all stakeholders, employees, suppliers and subcontractors, and efforts are made to achieve the targets set in order to ensure "sustainable development" and "continuous improvement".
GEMSAN's activities are carried out within the framework of the "GEMSAN Ethical Principles" prepared by the Board of Directors and disclosed to the public and our customers via the website. The GEMSAN Ethical Principles are the indispensable set of rules created to regulate internal relations and relations between all employees, customers, external suppliers and other stakeholders, to increase service quality, to use resources effectively and to prevent unfair competition.
The purpose of GEMSAN Ethical Principles is to put our code of conduct in writing in order to create a common corporate culture on business ethics, as a responsible institution towards the society and its customers, and to increase the awareness of our employees and stakeholders in this regard. In this context, it is aimed to guide Gemsan employees and those who act on behalf of the institution in terms of acting in accordance with the laws and business ethics in the decisions and behaviors they will make while performing their duties. At the same time, "sustainable development" and "continuous improvement" which are the objectives of management systems are provided.
Ethical Principles are in harmony with corporate policies, values and principles. It includes members of the board of directors, Gemsan employees, external suppliers and business partners, intermediaries, contractors, proxy workers and all third parties with whom business is done.
